Privacy Policy

Daily Diversion · NayDew LLC
Effective date: October 10, 2026

NayDew LLC ("NayDew," "we," "our," or "us"), a Minnesota limited liability company based in the United States, provides Daily Diversion, a mobile application offering daily games and challenges. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app, visit its pages at NayDew.com, or contact us for support.

1. At a glance

  • No account is needed. Daily Diversion does not request your name, password, or email address to play.
  • Game progress stays on your device. Our app code does not upload your puzzle answers, streaks, or game history to a NayDew gameplay server.
  • Ads involve another company. We use Google AdMob for optional rewarded advertisements. Google's advertising technology may process device and interaction data, including when its SDK initializes, even if you do not choose to watch an ad.
  • Choices matter. Personalized advertising is enabled only where allowed and after required permissions or consent. Non-personalized or limited advertising may still involve data processing. You can play the normal puzzles without watching a rewarded ad.
  • Contact: support@naydew.com.

2. Local gameplay information

The app stores data in storage on your device to operate the games and preserve your progress. This may include guesses and letters, puzzle boards, notes, timers, mistakes, whether a game was completed, daily completion records, streaks, game statistics, tutorial preferences, and hint or reward-unlock status. The app uses your device date to select daily puzzles.

This information is not sent by NayDew's game code to a NayDew-hosted account or gameplay server. NayDew cannot look up your game history or restore lost streaks from an online account. Data generally remains until you remove the app or clear its app data; device backup and restoration behavior is controlled by your operating system.

3. Advertising information and purposes

Daily Diversion offers optional Google AdMob rewarded ads to unlock hints for a daily game and, in Sudoku, a continuation opportunity. You can play the games without watching ads, but optional ad-based rewards may be unavailable if an ad cannot legally or technically be served.

Google and applicable advertising partners may process information including your IP address and approximate location derived from it, device or advertising identifiers where permitted, ads shown, ad viewing and other interactions, app launch and performance information, and diagnostics. This may support ad delivery, personalization where permitted, frequency limits, fraud prevention, measurement, and performance. Exact processing can vary by region, platform, permissions, privacy choices, and the advertising SDK and partners in the published release.

Google's policies and advertising information are available at Google Privacy Policy and Google Advertising Technologies. Applicable partners may be identified in the in-app consent message.

We do not operate a separate player-account advertising database. We do not promise that using non-personalized ads means no identifiers or information are processed; some processing may still be required for delivery, security, reporting, and frequency capping.

4. Consent, tracking, and advertising choices

Where required by law, Daily Diversion will ask for applicable advertising consent through Google's consent-management tools or another appropriate mechanism. For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, an appropriate certified consent-management platform will be used before personalized advertising where required. Applicable US state privacy choices will also be respected.

On Apple devices, we will request permission through App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before any activity that qualifies as tracking under Apple's rules. Declining ATT or applicable advertising consent does not stop you from playing the games. In these cases, we will limit advertising behavior as required; some rewarded ads and their associated optional rewards may be unavailable.

Where a privacy-options interface is required, the released app will provide a way to revisit those advertising choices. You may also review device-level privacy and advertising settings. To ask about privacy rights or choices, email support@naydew.com. Consent can be withdrawn where applicable without affecting earlier lawful processing.

5. Permissions and information we do not request for gameplay

Daily Diversion does not require access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, or precise GPS location. It does not require a social login or ask you to create an account. Device identifiers or approximate location may nevertheless be processed by the advertising SDK as described above.

6. Email support and website visits

If you email us, we receive your email address, any contact information in your message, and whatever details you choose to provide. We and the service providers delivering our email use that information to respond, investigate issues, protect the service, and comply with applicable obligations. Please do not send sensitive personal information unnecessarily.

Our public website is served using Cloudflare. When you visit NayDew.com, Cloudflare may process network or request information such as IP addresses and browser/request metadata to deliver and protect the pages. These static Daily Diversion pages do not require a visitor account. Any future analytics or additional website technologies will require this policy to be revisited.

7. Sharing, retention, and security

Gameplay progress is stored locally rather than shared with a NayDew gameplay server. Information handled by Google, its applicable ad partners, Cloudflare, and our email providers is processed as necessary for the functions described above, under their applicable policies and arrangements. We do not sell player-account lists because we do not operate player accounts; applicable privacy laws may still characterize some advertising disclosures as a sale or sharing, and available legal opt-out rights will be honored.

Local game records remain until app data is removed, subject to operating-system backups. Support emails are kept as reasonably needed to answer inquiries, maintain records, or comply with legal obligations. Google and other providers have their own retention practices. We use reasonable measures appropriate to the services involved, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers and legal bases

NayDew operates from the United States and intends to offer Daily Diversion worldwide. Information processed through advertising, email, or website providers may be handled in the United States or other countries. Applicable transfer safeguards and regional obligations must be satisfied before public release.

Where European or similar data protection laws apply, the applicable legal basis depends on the processing: providing app features or answering support requests, legitimate interests where permitted, legal obligations, and consent where required for advertising or tracking. Google and other service providers may have separate responsibilities and disclosures for their processing.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of certain targeted advertising or sale/sharing. You may also have a right to complain to your local privacy regulator.

To submit a request, email support@naydew.com. We may need enough information to verify the request, but we cannot identify an anonymous puzzle session that is stored only on your device. You can generally delete that local data by deleting the app or clearing its app data. Advertising choices and provider-held information may need to be managed using the applicable in-app, device, or Google privacy controls.

10. Children

Daily Diversion is designed for a general audience, not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not ask players to provide their age or personal contact information to play. Applicable children's and teenagers' privacy rules and advertising protections will be respected. If a parent or guardian has a question about a child's information, please contact us.

11. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy if the app, advertising configuration, service providers, or laws change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required for material changes. Where new consent is required, we will request it rather than treat continued use alone as permission.
